The Opportunity:
This role is a dedicated customer-facing role with primary responsibility for the creation of data-driven insights and research related to premium services offered by Interos.The Supply Chain Risk Analyst serves as a steward of specific customer needs related to analytics, applying rigorous standards for research and helping to drive continuous monitoring of customers' global supply chains. This team plays a critical role in Interos Rapid Response to global supply chain disruption supporting customers through risks ranging from global conflict to cyber-attacks. Team members offer insight across Aerospace/Defense, Financial Services, Energy and other core verticals.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- In close collaboration with the broader customer experience and Product team, the Supply Chain Risk Analyst provides critical premium services related to customers' needs of additional data, research, insights and continuous monitoring of supplier ecosystems
- Produces and delivers data-driven insights for 6 risk factors by offering additional background, executive summary and "so what" factor to global events including financial, cyber, geopolitical, ESG, Regulatory/Sanctions, natural disaster related risks
- Conducts investigations into foreign ownership and adversarial state involvement into customer supply chains for US government customers
- Collaborate and drive innovation with Product and Engineering teams to communicate subject-matter expertise and incorporate client feedback into core platform product
- Creates and delivers executive-facing monthly reports on changes to supply chain, update in insights provided to customer via reporting mechanism - i.e. Excel, PPT, Tableau, etc
- Creates additional value for key customers working with extended Customer Experience team
- Comfortable working with and presenting data in spreadsheets or whitepapers
- Support custom data services requests from external clients and internal stakeholders using SQL and Excel
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar data analytics/supply chain risk role OR have equivalent
- Experience with data warehouse technologies and best practices
- Experience working with data analysis tools like SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Access
- Proven passion and expertise for the discipline in Data Analysis, Research, and Global Risk
- Minimum Degree Requirement: Bachelors Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry or vertical expertise in Aerospace/Defence, Financial Services, Energy and other core verticals
- Experience working with SQL preferred

- Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers.
- Physical Demands: This is largely a sedentary role. Physical requirements include occasional lifting/carrying of 5 pounds; visual acuity, speech and hearing; hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, reaching, walking, twisting, and kneeling to perform the essential functions. Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment.
- Compensation range is base salary of $56,100-$93,500. The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
